Travel Requirements

All tourists (excluding Indian, Bangladeshi and Maldivian passport holders) who wish to travel to Bhutan require a visa and must book their holiday through a Bhutanese tour operator or one of their international partners. The tour operator will take care of Visa arrangements for visitors.

Peak Season Rates: US$250/ Per day per person – includes the following:
– Airport transfer
– Accommodation (twin sharing basis)
– All meals
– Land transport within Bhutan
– Sightseeing
– Tour guide/ driver
– Museum fees
– Refreshments and light snacks

Surcharge
– Single – US$ 40/- Per day per person
– Group of two or more – US$ 30/- Per day per person

Off Season Rates: US$ 200/ Per day per person – includes the following:
– Airport transfer
– Accommodation (twin sharing basis)
– All meals
– Land transport within Bhutan
– Sightseeing
– Tour guide/ driver
– Museum fees
– Refreshments and light snacks

Note:The Government fixes all the tourist tariff rates and the above cost does not include:
– Airfare and airport taxes
– Bhutan visa fees
– Insurance for travel
– Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks
– Luxury hotels
– Tips to tour guide and driver
